Based in Oakland, CA, JoyHouse was founded by myself, Francisco Grajales, in 2021. I specialize in high quality handmade wooden housewares, custom furniture, and personally tailored lessons in woodworking and carpentry.

With an M.S. degree in education, over a decade of experience working in various educational settings, and over five years of experience as a woodworker/carpenter, I bring a wealth of knowledge to help folks learn the skills necessary to tackle their own projects.
